Cola Franzen, Noted Translator and Friend of Romance Studies, Dies at 95
Cola Franzen, an award winning translator of Spanish literature and an associate of the Romance Studies Department, has died at the age of 95.
Mrs. Franzen translated a wealth of Spanish language literature into English, from medieval poetry to contemporary works, including novels by the Romance Studies Department’s own Alicia Borinsky.
