Join us for readings and discussion with three celebrated poets and authors: Sonia Sanchez, Gerald Vizenor, and Danielle Legros Georges, moderated by BU CGS faculty member Meg Tyler. This intimate evening will offer a look into the work of each artist, as well as open up a discussion about the intersection of the world of literature with the current social environment.
Additionally, interested students are invited to join Boston poet laureate, Danielle Legros Georges, for a workshop entitled: 21st Century Verse: The Art of Black Poets
