Romance Studies Announces Undergraduate Award Winners 2022

The Department of Romance Studies is pleased to announce the winners of our 2022 departmental awards for undergraduate students. Congratulations to all of the winners! We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our Departmental Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at 9am.

College Prize

The 2022 Romance Studies College Prize goes to Jackson Miller Brown. Jackson has strongly impressed his professors in every course he has taken in both the Spanish and Portuguese sections of the Department of Romance Studies. Jackson plans to pursue doctoral studies and a career in college teaching.  Next fall he will be enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University.
