PhD graduate throws off disability stigmas, refusing to let a TBI end her career

Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences and speech-language pathologist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Rick Sanders watched his patient Dee Genetti graduate with a PhD earlier this month, more than a decade after a traumatic car crash and TBI derailed her education.
