Looking back at the 生物统计学 and 流行病学 Data Analytics Center’s 新濠影汇线上赌场研究 collaborations over the years, new and long-time collaborators share insight into what it is like to have BEDAC’s expertise at their disposal.

Just a year after celebrating its 40^th anniversary, the 生物统计与流行病学数据分析中心（BEDAC） at the 公共卫生学院 is thriving as one of the key components of the new 健康数据科学中心 (CHDS).

Over the decades, BEDAC has partnered with 新濠影汇线上赌场研究ers on more than a thousand projects, both small- and large-scale, short- and long-term, local and international, in a variety of subject areas including 阿尔茨海默病 and 慢性创伤性脑病 (CTE), 酒精 and substance use disorders, 艾滋病毒/艾滋病, 肺结核, 资深的健康, 妇幼保健, and more. Once described by 克拉拉陈, now director of project operations, as a “one-stop shop,” BEDAC functions as a centralized service center, prepared to handle everything from everything from grant development, 新濠影汇线上赌场研究 design, and project planning to comprehensive project and data management, including regulatory compliance and technical support.

Alosco, who also serves as the 新濠影汇线上赌场研究 vice chair and an associate professor of neurology at 波士顿大学医学院 (CAMED), says he recalls coming to BU ADRC AND BU CTE from a smaller lab without access to the kinds of services BEDAC provides. 他说，他很快就意识到这种安排的好处。

Alosco often advocates for BEDAC to assume a more prominent role across the BU Medical Campus and hopes that more of his colleagues will consider the benefits of 伙伴关系, as was the case with 凯伦·雅各布森, an associate professor of medicine in the section of infectious diseases at CAMED. 雅各布森在SPH的流行病学部门担任二级职位，是BEDAC的最新合作者之一。

They came to BEDAC looking for support with higher level data analysis and were matched with 尼娜凯撒, a former post-doctoral associate at SPH and now 新濠影汇线上赌场研究 scientist at BEDAC.
