9/30: Prof. Lee Shares Expertise on Addiction Treatment & Intervention for Marginalized Communities

BUSSW Prof. Christina Lee will give a featured talk at the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s annual event, “State of the Art Course in Addiction Medicine.” The talk, which will cover addiction treatment and intervention programs for underserved communities, is titled “Screening and Intervening on Structural Determinants of Health for Minoritized Individuals in Addiction Medicine.” Prof. Lee has done extensive research on the connection between social and environmental stressors and the prevalence of risky behaviors in marginalized communities.
