Users of Adobe Dreamweaver or 贡献 that have the “rollbacks” feature enabled on their website will find they are unable to edit or publish pages when connecting with their standard SFTP settings.

When attempting to edit, “check in,” or publish content with Adobe Dreamweaver or Adobe 贡献, users receive an error message and the application fails to publish the content. This issue occurs because Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe 贡献, in order to provide the rollback feature, attempt a non-standard rename operation on the server that is not supported by BU’s SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).

IS&T has provided an alternate method of connecting with SFTP that supports these applications’ rollback operations. 要利用这种新方法，您必须更改adobedreamweaver和adobecontribute中的SFTP连接信息（见下文）。

If you are an Administrator in 贡献, follow the directions below to change your 贡献 SFTP settings. When you have changed the settings you will need to re-create connection keys for any site 编辑ors who do not have Administrator roles.

  1. In the  menu, go to 网站 > 管理网站.
  2. Select the site and click 编辑.
  3. Click 服务器 on the left.
  4. Select webdev.bu.edu and click the small pencil icon at the bottom of the list.
  5. In the 港口 field to the right of SFTP地址, enter 222.
  6. Click 保存, 保存 again, and 完成 to exit the 管理网站 dialog.

更改adobecontribute中的SFTP设置
