Counseling Psychology Training Center

The Counseling Psychology Training Center (CPTC) will provide culturally responsive clinical therapy services for Boston youth and families. It is located at Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. Our graduate students (i.e., advanced master’s and doctoral-level students) will serve as clinicians supervised by BU Wheelock faculty. CPTC also partners with Boston-based agencies supporting community-focused care.

Goals

  • Provide culturally responsive mental health services to Boston youth and families
  • Provide training to BU Wheelock graduate students focused on community engaged mental health services
  • Partner with youth, their families, and youth-serving organizations in Boston to develop programs in support of mental health and wellness

Advisory Boards

CPTC seeks collaboration from the community on the following:

2. Youth Advisory Board
