Biography
Katja is an educated professional with a wide variety of experience. She has a strong art, music, writing, and language background. She is a life-long learner and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree, focused on personal narrative, digital storytelling, and identity and agency through art.
Katja is an experienced language and humanities teacher. She taught at CELOP; The Center for English Language and Orientation Programs at BU for 12 years. She was formerly a French, Spanish, ESL, and Latin instructor in K-12 schools.
She currently teaches all levels of English and Liberal Arts, with a course focused on the interaction of Music and Visuals.
Katja has travelled to many places and lived overseas. She enjoys continuing to learn additional languages and to experience and learn about other cultures.
Katja also writes fiction in the form of poems and short stories.
She lives with her husband and dog outside of Boston.
