White House Hunger Summit Listening Session

US Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) (left) hosted a White House Hunger Summit District Convening in East Boston July 11 to hear from providers, policy experts, and community members on hunger, nutrition, and health and ways innovative and thoughtful community-based efforts can help end hunger and improve nutrition. Among those speaking was Micaelah Morrill, BU Innovate@BU director of external affairs (right), who discussed food insecurity on college campuses and solutions to the problem. Feedback from the listening session will inform a comprehensive roadmap to ending hunger at this fall’s White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. Photo by Cydney Scott
